- Start time is 6:00pm. There is no bus. Athletes need to be there at 4:45pm.
- Diving will begin right after the Medley relay is completed.
Here is a letter that was received by East Kentwood's team:
Dear Coaches, Parents, Swimmers and Divers,
On Thursday, December 19, at 6:00 pm East Kentwood is
hosting their Christmas Quad Swim meet with the schools from Byron Center,
Grand Rapids Christian and Portage Central.
We are looking forward to an exciting meet between these fine teams.
As part of the meet, East Kentwood’s Boys Water Polo
team and the Boys Swimming and Diving team are using this meet to raise funds
and toys for the “Toys for Tots” program.
Currently the teams have raised over $1,800 from returned pop cans and
bottles donated by a local manufacturer.
Their goal is to make this amount $2000 before December 19!! The money will be donated to the “Toys for
Tots” program that evening.
If you are interested in joining this great cause, you
will have two opportunities at this meet to participate. First, cash donations or gift cards will be
accepted at the door to be given to the “Toys for Tots” program. The second way is to bring an unwrapped toy
that evening to the meet. Each person
that brings in an unwrapped toy will receive free admission!!
We are looking forward to
seeing you on the 19th and hope you will consider helping the teams
reach their goal.
