Cedar Point Reminder

Just a reminder that we leave tomorrow morning at 5:30am at the high school.  Please make sure you have your $50 for Jeremy so that you are able to go on the trip.  It's too late to back out, tickets have been purchased.

Don't bring stuff you won't need.

Please make sure you bring:
- packed lunch with your name on it that will fit in the community cooler.
- enough money if you would like to purchase food, drinks, souvenirs inside the park. (we are providing 2 drinks outside the park)
- shorts that have pockets that can be zipped or buttoned shut.
- phone if you have one so that we can call parents on the ride home.
- sunscreen
- something to keep you busy on the 4 hour drives (you may sleep).
- comfortable shoes (it's going to be a long day)
- prepare to get wet, wear something you that you won't care if it gets wet (there are some water rides)

Here is the plan for Wednesday, July 30th:

My dad and I will be driving two vehicles that will allow all 15 group members to go.  The park opens at 10am and closes at 10pm.  We are hoping to leave school around 5:30am and arrive at the park at 10am.  We are planning on leaving the park around 7:00pm and arrive back at school around 12:00am.  

We are hoping to keep this cost as low as possible for you, in order to do so we will  all pack a lunch so that we can eat at the vehicles for lunch.  For dinner you can also pack that and eat it out at the vehicles or if you want to bring more money and go to one of the restaurants, you may do so, but it is way more expensive.  We will provide coolers and 2 drinks per person, please label your lunches with your name to make them more identifiable.  Don't forget to bring sunscreen, you will be standing in lines most of the day.

Cost will be $50 per person.  Checks should be made out to Jeremy Pyper.  In order to go he must be paid before you leave.  Once tickets are ordered you must pay no matter if you can go or not.  If you want to go out to eat, buy souvenirs, etc. you will need to bring your own cash.

Cedar Point Date

Wednesday, July 30th is when we are going to Cedar Point.  

The park is open from 10am-10pm that day.  Cost will most likely be around $55-$70.  The earliest we would leave for the park is 5:30am, no one has to drive as Pype and Jeremy will most likely be driving.

So far I have handful of guys signed up, it's not too late to let me know.  The final date for signing up is July 15th and that is right around the corner.  Please tell me ASAP.  

Weightlifting Reminder

The days are Monday and Wednesday 2:00pm-3:30pm.

The tentative date right now is Wednesday, July 30th.

Please let Jeremy know if you are interested via email ASAP.  We want to get numbers of how many people would be going so we can plan rides, timing, etc.  There have been guys that have told me already they want to go.  Please contact me again, so I can have exact numbers.  Plan on just being gone July 30th.

I need to know by June 30th, that is in 15 days.  I will then, plan rides, food, cost and then inform everyone.  Once I get your final okay then I can tell you how much it'll cost, It should probably be between $55-$70 for tickets and gas, but could change depending on how many guys sign up.  

Weightlifting with Pype in the summer

This summer Pype will be lifting in the weight room at the high school.  If you know of any incoming 9th graders that are going to our school and are interested in swimming or diving please invite them as well.

Lifting will be:
Monday 2:00pm-3:30pm
Wednesday 2:00pm-3:30pm

Please make sure that you are there right on time at 2:00pm.  If your schedule doesn't allow for you to lift during this time and you would like to, please contact Pype or Jeremy
